My name is Greg Gimlick and the RC Traveler site is about my two favorite hobbies: R/C Airplanes and traveling by RV.

I've been involved with RV's since I was a kid and my folks bought their first pop-up. I owned pop-ups, travel trailers and presently travel in a Jayco Greyhawk 32SS motorhome. Fortunately I have a wife and dog who share my passion for RVing.

I began modeling airplanes in the early 60's and have continued ever since. I started flying r/c airplanes in the late 70's and for the last 15 years have concentrated on electric powered flight. I've written electric flight columns for RC Report, Model Airplane News, Quiet Flyer, and presently write for the AMA publications Model Aviation and Park Pilot.
